The project is located in the western Province of Solomon Islands. The main work involved upgrading the runway, glide path and apron surfaces, drainage systems and ancillary facilities such as navigational AIDS at Munda Airport in Solomon Islands.

Upon completion of the project, Munda Airport will be able to take off and land Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 passenger planes, effectively relieving the current heavy passenger and cargo transport pressure of the airport and improving the travel conditions of local residents.
